Amina (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist and storyteller, with a focus in post production. An effective communicator, with diverse experience in people and project management.

Amina believes storytelling is a powerful catalyst for meaningful change in our world. With a B.A. degree in Psychology, and education in improv comedy, they bring a unique lens to this craft as a whole.

A child of Pakistani-Muslim immigrants, Amina is particularly inspired by stories that expand us towards deeper understandings of our interconnectedness; stories that seek to tell the truth; stories about cultural preservation and survival.

Growing up with a mother who is an educator and child care provider, Amina learned early on how to consider and care for others – an intrinsic quality that transcends both her personal and professional life.

Investing in others is an investment in ourselves – an investment in community. This belief informs Amina’s approach to all forms of collaboration.

“Beloved community is formed not by the eradication of difference but by its affirmation, by each of us claiming the identities and cultural legacies that shape who we are and how we live in the world.”

- bell hooks

"Community is a group of individuals who have learned how to communicate honestly with each other, whose relationships go deeper than their masks of composure, and who have developed some significant commitment to "rejoice together, mourn together," and to "delight in each other, make others' conditions our own."

- M. Scott Peck
